Small Business Management Instructor
C. Dean Otto is a Small Business Management Instructor for South Central College in N. Mankato, Minnesota. Mr. Otto is the senior instructor for the department and has worked with over 600 small businesses to improve their management skills during the past 20 years. Mr. Otto holds a B.S. degree in education and a M.B.A. degree with an emphasis on consulting for small businesses from Minnesota State University, Mankato.Small Business Management education is offered across the State of Minnesota by the technical colleges. The program provides education to business owners and managers through evening classes and one-on-one business site education. Classes are offered in the areas of strategic planning, financial management, human resources, marketing, record keeping, management skills, organizational structure and computerization. Class members attend classes and work with an instructor from their area.
